Time it takes to make a comic page. ONE comic page.
>1 hour, sketching
>30 mins->1 hour of inking
>Further 5->15 mins of RUBBING OUT THE LINES.
>1 hour ->1 hour 30 mins of CG (levels, tones, lettering and bubbles)
...I've found out a way to get around rubbing out the lines.
*waves blue-coloured pencil*
IT WORKS! IT ACTUALLY WORKS! AHAHAHAHA 8D I was seriously wondering why comic and manga artists never mentioned rubbing out the lines after inking.. It's because they DON'T! They probably sketch perfectly in BLUE PENCIL that doesn't show up when you scan it! CB
The only problem is that I then forget to fill in the blacks. OTL
Then there's the whole currently-failing-at-drawing thing.Anyway. Enjoy that tip of the day <: Don't feel like rubbing it out? DRAW IN BLUE.
